OBJECTIVE:
To design a refined visual identity for Rasayya by Aisha, a bespoke catering brand focused on intimate gatherings, organic ingredients, and elevated, restaurant-quality plating. The identity needed to reflect sophistication, warmth, and a highly curated, personal dining experience.
APPROACH:
The identity is built around a custom monogram that merges the initials R and A, creating a distinctive and ownable brand mark. The form is softened with fluid, ribbon-like strokes that draw inspiration from plating techniques—mimicking the movement of sauces, layered textures, and the artistry of food presentation.
These flowing elements introduce a sense of rhythm and indulgence, visually translating the idea of “rasa”—flavour, essence, and sensory experience—into the mark.
The typography is intentionally minimal and widely spaced, allowing the monogram to take focus while reinforcing a sense of quiet luxury and restraint. A deep, earthy green palette paired with a warm neutral tone reflects the brand’s organic ethos while maintaining a premium, contemporary feel.
Overall, the identity balances structure and fluidity—capturing both the precision of curated dining and the softness of a personal, intimate experience.
