Creator’s Haven
OBJECTIVE:
To create a visual identity for Echo House—a sanctuary for creators—that captures its multidisciplinary nature while maintaining a strong, recognisable presence.
The goal was to design a system that could seamlessly adapt across podcasts, experimental events, poetry, and visual productions, without feeling fragmented. It needed to balance artistic expression with clarity, positioning Echo House as a contemporary cultural hub rather than just a venue.
APPROACH:
The identity was built on the idea of an “echo” as much as an absence as a presence—something felt, repeated, and fading rather than explicitly seen.
Instead of creating a loud or expressive mark, the approach was to strip the identity down to its most minimal form, allowing space to become an active design element. The logo uses subtle repetition and enclosure to suggest a sense of contained resonance—like sound existing within walls, looping quietly within a space.
The square form serves as a metaphor for the house—a defined boundary—while the interior treatment hints at layering, depth, and continuity without being literal. This restraint allows the identity to feel open-ended and interpretive, much like the creative practices it houses.
Rather than dominating applications, the logo is designed to sit quietly and let content take the foreground, making it highly adaptable
